Mystery Ship 9 was produced in a blue, red and white colour scheme.
Although the colours were different to the standard Vetter Mystery Ship colour scheme, the styling was similar.
It is fitted with solid spun-aluminium wheels
The engine is turbo charged.

The original owner of Mystery Ship 9 was Russ Collins who was a famous motorcycle drag racer and engineer.
It was his company, R.C. Engineering that carried out the turbo charging on Vetter Mystery Ships 6 and 9.

Mystery Ship 9 is now on display at The Barber Vintage Museum in Birmingham, Alabama, USA.
